It's our third day of Flapjacks in a row. The service was spot on all three days. The waitress was attentive and kept our drinks full. We had good food. There is plenty of parking. I remember the peanut butter waffle being more peanut buttery but it was a good waffle just lacked the PB flavor.
The waitress was very nice. The food was fine. How many locally owned businesses are open for coffee and breakfast at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning? It was not crowded. I wish the manager would not reprimand staff publicly.
Credit to the servers they are very high energy and attentive even with high volume. The cooks need to clean their cook tops. My pancake wasn't burnt, it was just browned by what tasted like burger grease. If the name of the restaurant is "Flap Jacks"...my flap jack shouldn't be the worst thing on my plate. Do better!
genuinely a fantastic place. our server was so kind and personable, the music was atmospheric, and the FOH area where the food is prepared was impressively clean. having worked in kitchens like this, it really is a mark of a well oiled and knowledgeable staff that cares about their place of employment to see such a busy kitchen have spotless walls and fridges. even the areas underneath the fridges were spotless. Will definitely be coming back, this was an amazing first impression!!
Good omelette, service is fast and waitress extremely nice.
Just OK. Service was fine. Food would have been better if bread hadn't been burnt and the addition of egg shells in my eggs was definitely not a plus. Food was just Plain Jane. OK if you're starving and noone else is serving breakfast.
They have a good variety of toast to choose from. I got rye toast. This is set up similar to Waffle House. Put waitress was great, she looked like a biker I’m not sure what her name was. They food was pretty good and the biscuit and gravy was good. We waited for a little bit but the place is not very big so to no fault of their own. They were quick to clean tables off when anyone left.
The food was very high quality, and the service was prompt and friendly. They make nice omelets, waffles and pancakes. Good selection of breakfast meat to include corned beef hash which is a big plus for me as a diner, and fried pork chops. Meals come with grits and toast, or hash browns for an extra charge. The grits were cooked perfectly. They only had white and wheat for toast choices, but not a huge issue. They have no sign on the street, the building, or even the front door, so if you don't know it's there, it's easy to miss.
